888 to bring online bingo to South Africa

Online gambling giant 888 will bring online bingo to South Africa as part of a deal with Tsogo Sun Gaming Group.Tsongo Sun Gaming (TSG) has signed a deal with Dragonfish, the business-to-business arm of 888, to bring a full range of online gambling to the South African market.TSG will launch its own brand as well as help promote 888.com in the country. They will start by developing an online sportsbook before developing bingo, poker and casino products as South African laws on online gambling become clearer.

Dragonfish will provide TSG with games, technology, payment processing systems, call center, customer relationship management, online marketing and business analytics.TSG has seven casinos in South Africa with more than 21 million customers per year.

St Minver ditch Parlay bingo software

St Minver, part of the massive GTech G2 gaming group, has decided to ditch Parlay Entertainment software and use their own in-house software solution instead.All brands operating on both St Minver’s International Bingo Network and Boss Media’s bingo network will switch to the new software by February 2010.
